Golden Stone

Golden Stone Stationery Design

The New Taipei City Gold Museum is renowned for its unique mining history and cultural heritage, complemented by striking natural landscapes such as the Golden Waterfall and Yin-Yang Sea, leaving every visitor with a lasting impression. Inspired by this context, our design translates the symbolism of “gold digging” into everyday stationery.

By subtly embedding golden materials within the stationery, the design allows the imagery of stone and gold to gradually emerge during use. This creates a sense of discovery—like unearthing hidden treasure—while symbolizing the reward that comes from persistence and effort.

The design draws a parallel to the challenges faced by office workers and students in their daily tasks and creative processes, offering moments of surprise and encouragement. More than just a souvenir, the product creates an experiential connection between local culture, natural scenery, and the user’s everyday life—transforming stationery into a medium of memory, delight, and self-recognition.
