設計發想源自於對餐桌風景的觀察。我們希望這件日常器物不只是單純的調味工具，而能夠成為餐桌的一部分，像餐盤、器皿、擺飾一樣，共同營造出用餐的氛圍。於是我們將造型語言處理得簡潔而優雅，讓它能自然地立於桌面，如同一件花瓶，既低調又耐看。

 

在功能上，我們思考如何讓操作更加直覺。翻轉即啟動的重力設計，讓使用者像是完成一個自然的動作，就能得到新鮮的香料。大口徑的開口結構則讓填裝變得輕鬆順手，同時保持香料流動的順暢。內部陶瓷研磨核心則確保風味純淨，讓食材的本質被完整保留。

 

我們希望這款研磨器在靜置時是餐桌風景的一部分，而在使用時則帶來一種小小的儀式感。它不只是功能物件，更是生活美學的延伸，透過設計讓日常調味的片刻，轉化為共享餐桌時光的體驗。

The design concept originates from an observation of the dining table as a landscape. We envisioned this everyday utensil as more than just a seasoning tool—it should seamlessly integrate with the table, like plates, vessels, or ornaments, collectively shaping the atmosphere of a meal. The form was therefore refined to be simple and elegant, allowing it to stand naturally on the table, resembling a vase—subtle yet enduring.

 

Functionally, we sought to make the experience intuitive. The gravity-activated mechanism starts grinding with a single tilt, echoing a natural gesture that effortlessly delivers fresh spices. Its wide opening simplifies refilling while ensuring a smooth flow of ingredients, while the ceramic grinding core preserves purity of flavor, keeping the essence of the ingredients intact.

 

We imagine this grinder as part of the dining landscape when at rest, and as a small ritual when in use. Beyond its utility, it becomes an extension of everyday aesthetics, transforming the act of seasoning into a shared moment of dining experience.
